When should you start a Christmas bag collection?
Start pattern development in spring or early summer. Work backwards from your in-store or warehouse date: sea freight to your market, then production, then sampling and approval. Missing the window usually means air freight or a lost season.
What needs to be decided?
- Bag types: tote, gift bag, wine bag, pouch, mini bag.
- Motifs: Fair Isle, reindeer, snowflakes, your own design.
- Colours: the classic red / green / cream palette or a brand palette.
- Logo and labels; gift tags or packaging.
- Quantities per design and the delivery date to your warehouse.
Can holiday bags replace gift packaging?
Yes. A knit gift bag replaces the box and wrapping for candles, cosmetics, wine or chocolates – and the customer keeps using it. Send us the product sizes and we will size the bag.
